Our story

In 1998 company director Wendy McCarthy AO was approached by a new CEO of a major financial services company who needed a confidential, independent sounding board to provide support and guidance in his efforts to reshape his leadership team and the culture of the organisation. Connecting this senior executive with a wiser, more experienced person was the start of McCarthy Mentoring. In 2012 her daughter, Sophie McCarthy, bought the business and has continued to grow it into the dynamic leadership development organisation it is today. Wendy has continued as a valued mentor to executive clients.
